You have reached the home page of Brian J. Callahan, Pickens County Extension Agent with the Clemson University Extension Service. Our office is located at 222 West Main Street in Pickens at the corner of Main and Florence Street. Our primary offices are located upstairs, and our meeting facility is located downstairs. Our regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The Clemson Extension Service has 5 main goal areas, which are listed below:
Agricultural Productivity and Profitability
Environmental Conservation
4-H and Youth
Family and Consumer Sciences
Community Development
Information regarding each of these areas may be obtained at the Pickens County Extension Office.
My primary job duties involve agriculture and natural resources, for adults and youth. The column to the left emphasizes some of my larger program areas, and will be updated on a regular basis.
