Making a difference on campus wherever possible, the Calhoun Society seeks to get students involved in expressing their opinions and taking a stand on many issues, from campus to national events we cover everything. Our goal is to fill a special niche on campus and add to the experience of students outside the classroom.

Calhoun Society, in practice, has two different styles of meetings. First, we host round table discussions for students to come in and discuss their views; these meetings are normally facilitated by a professor who is greatly in-tune with the subject. Second, we have meetings where professors come in and give a presentation about a topic area that they are greatly interested about; these presentations are normally very intriguing, since they involve areas where professors hold their greatest passions.
