Listed below are all the great benefits you will receive when you join the Society of American Foresters.  In addition to these benefits you will automatically become a member of one of the best student SAF organizations in the country, the Clemson University Society of American Foresters.  In the 2003-2004 academic year we won 2nd place in the Outstanding Student Chapter of the Year.  For next year we have our eyes on the 1st place award as well as the Student Chapter Website Award. 


Here are some of the activities we participate in yearly...
  • Attend National, Regional, and Local SAF meetings.
  • Sell fire wood to the local community.

Student members have a voice in SAF through the National Student Assembly (NSA), which meets once a year during the national convention.
