Professor Gordon holds a B.A. (mathematics) and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. He has served on the faculty of the University of Rochester and as a staff economist in the Research Section of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. His research and teaching interests include monetary theory , fiscal policy, and applied general equilibrium modeling, .
