Greetings and welcome to our Web site! We are happy that you are interested in the Silviculture and Ecology Laboratory (SEL). Associated with Clemson University's School of Agricultural, Forest, and Environmental Sciences, our lab conducts applied ecology research in boreal and temperate forests, especially in southeast US. This webpage introduces you to the SEL by showcasing its people and research.
Open Positions
Our lab typically recruits 2-3 new students each year. Consequently, we are always interested in recruiting talented students. All students work in the lab are financially supported through a combination of assistantship and fellowships/scholarships. In 2012, we expected to recruit one post-doc and two graduate students (one Ph.D. and one MS). If you are interested in joing the Silvicultur and Ecology Lab, please email Dr. G.
