The Clemson University Campus Chapter of Habitat for Humanity was established in 1994 following
its participation in the building of a home on Bowman Field during the 1993 Homecoming celebration.
Since then, the chapter has organized several outstanding projects, including the 2001 "Blitz Build"
during which five houses were completed. In 2003, Clemson Habitat spurred the building of the first
ever Youth United home in partnership with D.W. Daniel High School in Central, SC.
In Fall of 2008, we were named Campus Chapter of the Year by Habitat for Humanity International at
the Youth Leadership Conference in St. Louis, Missouri. At this conference, we were asked to give
a presentation entitled "LEED the Way in Green Building." As a result, we were able able to organize
a Global Village trip to Zacapa, Guatemala where we worked with homeowners and local masons to continue
our mission of providing safe, decent housing. We continue to maintain a strong presence on campus
and in the community. It is support from individuals like you that enable us to do these things.

Homecoming T-Shirts |

We will be taking pre-orders for Homecoming T-shirts at our next Club Meeting. T-shirts cost
$10 and you must pay in order to pre-order your shirt. Try to bring exact cash too. If you cannot make
it to the meeting, please email Greg Stabler at gstable@clemson.edu. We will also be selling the
shirts at the Homecoming House on Bowman. We will announce when we have them at the house.

Need Help Getting Ready for Homecoming Build |

Eric needs around 5 people to help him load materials for the Homecoming Build. He will be
meeting at 5:00pm Monday, October 19th behind Sikes Hall. If you can make it, please
send him an email at ejulian@clemson.edu and let him know you'll be there.

cost between $10-12 and we have sizes ranging from Adult Small - Adult XX-Large.
