Research

 

My main interest is in Number Theory with applications to coding theory and cryptography. I have worked on the following problems:

 

- asymptotic results on the number of points on curves over finite fields (class field towers and explicit towers)

- algebraic-geometric codes (asymptotic results, construction of explicit bases, improvement of code parameters)

- Graph and digraph embedding problems

- Distance graphs.
