My professional goals are...
to teach and conduct research in forest wildlife management and conservation biology with an emphasis on non-game species in disturbed landscapes.  Ultimately, my teaching and research activities will evolve into a regional and national reputation for knowledge of and competence in the field of non-game wildlife research and forest wildlife management. By my professional competence and passion for conservation I hope to enhance the interest of ethnic minorities and other under-represented stakeholders in natural resources-related issues and encourage their participation in similarly oriented careers.
