Education
1988 BA, Zoology, Clemson University
1990 MS Zoology, Clemson University

Avian Communities in Early-Successional Habitats in the Mountains and Upper
Piedmont of South Carolina")
My professional goals are...
to teach and conduct research in forest wildlife management and conservation
biology with an emphasis on non-game species in disturbed landscapes.
Ultimately, my teaching and research activities will evolve into a regional
and national reputation for knowledge of and competence in the field of
non-game wildlife research and forest wildlife management. By my professional
competence and passion for conservation I hope to enhance the interest
of ethnic minorities and other under-represented stakeholders in natural
resources-related issues and encourage their participation in similarly
oriented careers.
